Mudbath Player Readiness

Hello All,

Mudbath is only a few days away and I hope everyone is getting excited! This update is to go over the rough schedule (Full schedule in link below) and what players should bring for the day.

Madison Mudbath 2024 Information
Field map/Info Location: Vel Phillips Memorial High School, 201 South Gammon Road, Madison, WI, 53717 Tournament Centeral (TC) Water will be based at TC Dry snacks and fruit will be availble Trainer will be located at TC Mudbath Discs for Sale for $15 and Merchandise availiblle Fields 11, 1…

Games will be starting at 8:30 for both teams but we need players there at 7am to start setting up. This gives us time to setup before warm-ups start around 7:30 or 7:45. Games will be over by 4:30 Saturday assuming we are able to play at Memorial for the entire day. The indoor contingency plans would send the girls/NB team to Badger Ridge middle school in Verona and the boys to either Verona HS or East HS. If this were to happen the schedule would be altered and games may run to ~5pm Saturday.

Sunday's first game will be ~9am and there is a real possibility we will have to be in the indoor spaces to start the day due to more rain and storms. There will be another update Saturday afternoon/evening with more details on this.

PLAYERS, below is a list of things coaches feel you need to bring to be comfortable and have a good day. This list isn't complete so please bring anything else you think you need.

  • Cleats
  • Jerseys, please let coaches know if you don't have these yet .
  • Water bottle (you can refill these at the fields)
  • Extra layers to stay warm - Forecast is for mid 60s to ~70 but it will be windy and possibly rainy.
  • Extra socks so you can change out of wet ones.
  • Raincoat
  • Garbage bag to keep your things dry and off the wet grass.
  • Snacks - The tournament will provide some snacks but bringing your own is always good.
  • Sunscreen (even if it is cloudy)
  • Blanket or something to sit on that isn't the wet grass.

Again this list isn't everything but it should help you have a good day out there!

If there are any questions about this please ask us in the GroupMe or email.

Thanks,
John
