About VPMHS Ultimate

Welcome to the Vel Phillips Memorial High School Ultimate program's website. Here you can find information about our teams, practice schedule, tournament schedule, contact information, and even a quick description of the sport of Ultimate.

The mission of the Vel Phillips Memorial Ultimate Frisbee Club is to:

• Promote the sport of Ultimate Frisbee
• Provide an environment in which players can play and enjoy the game of Ultimate Frisbee
• Play within the Spirit of the Game
• Encourage our players to become People of Integrity​

Memorial Ultimate has been a program for over 20 years. We have hosted over 25 tournaments, participated at Nationals, Easterns, and Centrals, and have won numerous Wisconsin State Championship titles for both our Women's and Open teams. The Memorial program currently supports two teams: one women's/NB team and one open team. Both teams play in a weekly Madison youth league against the surrounding high schools. We also send teams to tournaments around the Midwest where they face competition from all over the country. Our season culminates as the teams compete in the Wisconsin State Championships for a chance to claim the State title.
